Session 1: Shakespeare and Lincoln: presented by Laura Waller, Vice President/Senior Trust Officer at WesBanco.

Explore how today’s estate and financial planning professional can learn from the historical analysis of Shakespeare dying with a comprehensive estate plan and Lincoln dying without such a plan. Explore business succession and family wealth replacement tools, including insurance, stretch IRAs, and Charitable Lead Trusts.

Session 2: Elevating the discourse: presented by James N. Trifelos, JD, Vice President/Senior Trust Officer, at WesBanco.

Learn techniques in encouraging clients to engage in estate and charitable planning. Understand why it is important for all of a client’s professional advisors to collaborate in the best interest of the client.

Session 3: Charitable Giving tools in lifetime and legacy planning: presented by James A. Anzelmo, Esq., Vice President of Development, Craig Heppner, CAP, Development Officer, Tiffiney Hatem, Development Officer, The Catholic Foundation.

Discuss which charitable giving tool works best under different scenarios. Examine the advantages of donating appreciated securities and funding charitable remainder trusts with non-cash assets.

Session 4: The Ohio Legacy Trust: presented by James N. Trifelos, JD, Vice President/Senior Trust Officer at WesBanco.

Learn how The Ohio Legacy Trust works and how it is used with other estate planning and charitable giving techniques.
