Pitfalls of Strategic Planning:

There are as many good approaches to strategic planning as there are business leaders and advisors. Yet, pitfalls exist. Through a case study amalgamated from real world family business clients, Jeff Cope (JACO Advisory Group) and Marcel van der Elst (DWH) help participants in a workshop setting to get acquainted with both derailers and foundational concepts to improve chances of success. Rather than focusing on the mechanics of a process, Jeff and Marcel share a story and facilitate discovery and discussion among fellow business owners and leaders. This 2-hour workshop requires 15 minutes of advance case reading. After the workshop, participants will receive summary notes and take-away insights that can be put into practice immediately in ongoing or future strategic planning.
