Marijuana and CBD are becoming increasingly popular as a treatment option for a variety of health conditions. Laws about medical marijuana in the workplace are also evolving, and can seem unclear to employers and employees. While marijuana remains illegal at the federal level, Ohio and 28 other states have legalized medical marijuana to some extent.
This session will help clear the haze on what family business leaders can do in the event of positive and false positive drug screenings, how to incorporate drug policies into your employee handbook, the importance of management training for upholding drug policies, drug-related terminations and more.
