Employee discipline – coaching, verbal and written warnings, etc. – is one of the most effective tools to improve employee performance and protect your company from liability.   

In the first half of this session, Ben Albrecht of Fishel Downey Albrecht and Riepenhoff will address ways to protect your company’s policy from legal issues regarding disciplining employees.  Suzanne Amstutz of Ohio Power Tool will contribute from the family business perspective.  The second half of the session will address how to write a good performance review and ways to conduct effective performance evaluations that will help you avoid legal problems.
