JOB BENCHMARKING: SELECTING SUPERIOR PERFORMERS
Have you ever hired someone whose best day on the job was the day they interviewed? Have you ever wondered why? If you were leaving your current position and interviewing would you "puff" (think about it)? How does your organization get through the "puff" in the selection and hiring process?
Businesses today are challenged to find better ways to secure the right talent for success. But what talent does a job require for superior performance? Only the job has the answer, so let the job talk and listen carefully and discover the key issues that interfere with the hiring of superior performers.
Bryan Driscoll, President and Founder of Driscoll Learning will facilitate this dynamic, interactive session exploring:
- BIAS: The biggest barrier in selecting superior performers
- The value and importance of Personal Accountability and how to measure it.
- How to improve the selection process and reduce turnover through job benchmarking.
- Why do we tend to hire for skills and fire for attitude?
- Benchmarking the top 10 to 20 people is a flawed standard approach to identify top performers.
- Why failure to use assessments as part of our hiring or screening process limits the ability to accurately select superior performers.
